“Weed” Walk with Grace

It’s a tradition – “WEED” WALK with Grace Lefever. On a “Weed” Walk you will learn how to identify edible & medicinal plants. Our first walk of the season will be April 27, 12-2 pm. The Academy Award nominated documentary, Food, Inc. premiers on PBS’s POV April 21st! Watch the trailer and tell your friends. Check your local listings for the broadcast schedule, and visit the POV website to download materials and posters to host a viewing party and potluck.

Hatha Yoga Class Continues!

Hatha Yoga classes will continue every Thursday! Enjoy an afternoon Hatha Yoga class with certified Kripalu yoga instructor Lori Houck-Ruffner. The class will feature a variety of basic yoga poses in a gentle stream of movement, combined with yogic breathing, attention to proper body alignment and simple relaxation techniques.  The class is open to all levels of experience.  Bring a yoga mat and blanket.

Classes are every Thursday at 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.  Join us every Thursday or when you can. Fee is $5 per class.

Classes will be held approximately 1/4 mile from Sonnewald’s Natural Foods at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ,  2173 Stoverstown Road, Spring Grove, PA 17262.
